Founded in 2018, the Clarksburg History Museum has grown into an established part of the community because of the hard work of our amazing volunteers. We are dedicated to preserving the history of Clarksburg and Harrison County and we’d love to have your help.

Beginning this year, our goal is to give high schoolers a chance to volunteer at the museum and hopefully to learn more about their city, county, and state history. We offer opportunities to learn how to catalog books and artifacts, digitize historic documents and yearbooks, assist with exhibit research, and more.
