An Interview with Sam Folio

Seven Decades Started With a Ukulele

Little did Sam Folio know that when he decided to learn how to play the ukulele as a young student at St. Mary’s Grade School in Clarksburg, West Virginia, it would awaken an incredible musical talent that would take him all over the world. Sam recounts his stories of growing up in Clarksburg, recalling the many changes in music, licensing, musician’s rights, and even weighs in on the new challenges facing creatives in the 21st century.
